This page describes exactly what happens to information when you use hyper-node.com. It is short because the site collects very little.
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and no third party measures your visit. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no social media tracker.
Three things are remembered in your own browser's local storage, on your device only. They are never sent anywhere:
We count page views so we know which pages are worth keeping. This is our own software running on our own server; the data goes to no one else.
For each page view we record the page, the site that linked you here (the site, not the page you were reading), your approximate screen width, browser, operating system and language, and the time.
Your IP address is never stored. To count one person once per day without keeping anything that identifies them, your address and browser are combined with a secret that is thrown away and regenerated every day, and only the resulting fingerprint is saved. Once the day's secret is gone, the fingerprint cannot be traced back to an address or matched against any other day.
If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, nothing is recorded at all.
The contact form sends your name, email address, subject and message to support@hyper-node.com, and sends you a copy for your records. We use it to answer you. It is not added to any marketing list and is not shared.
Because the last two are made server-side, those providers see our server rather than you.
Email support@hyper-node.com and we will answer. Since we keep no IP addresses and no account for you, the only information we are likely to hold is an email you sent us.
