See what the internet knows about your connection — and check for leaks.
Browsers can reveal your real IP through WebRTC — even when using a VPN. This checks if yours is leaking.
Each app on your device connects to the internet independently. Here's why they can show different IPs:
VPN apps can be configured to let certain apps bypass the VPN. Your browser may go through the VPN while TikTok goes direct — or the opposite.
Apps like RedNote (Xiaohongshu) and TikTok route traffic through their own CDN or regional proxy servers. Your request can appear to originate from a server in a completely different country.
Apps that support IPv6 may use a different address than apps that only use IPv4. VPNs often handle IPv4 and IPv6 independently, which can cause mismatches.
A webpage can only see the IP your browser used to reach it. Other apps on your device make their own connections — the browser has no access to those. This is a fundamental OS security boundary that cannot be bypassed.
